Hiawatha Blvd has been getting work done, and today the crew hit a snag.
A dump track raised the back end hitting a power line and sent sparks flying to 185 and 187 Hiawatha. No other homes were affected except for some in the immediate area who had power turned off to fix the line.
The worker who actually caused the commotion described the accident, “I was just cleaning up some leaves left on the road and I…” - He went on to explain in colorful terms that it was clearly his fault.
