The competition is heating up for BISSELL’s Most Valuable Pet (MVP) Contest, and Oakland ’s very own Skid Ruff was selected as one of the top picks during last week’s voting. Skid was one among thousands of pets submitted for the chance to feature on BISSELL’s pet product packaging, and a prize of $10,000 to donate to the pet cause of their choice.
In addition to the grand prize winner, four runners up will also be selected, each to be featured on BISSELL pet packaging, and to receive cash prizes to donate to the pet charity of their choice. The 2008 MVP Contest was a huge success, attracting more than 62,000 entries from pet hopefuls. The contest contributes to BISSELL’s pet-loving community outreach, as well as the company’s long-standing partnership with PetFinder.com, aiming to find caring homes for abandoned animals across the United States.
