Good-Bye… Indian Hills 1

Good-Bye!

I am taking this opportunity to say good-bye to my second hometown, Oakland. After 42 years as an English teacher and English supervisor at Indian Hills, I would like to thank the residents of the FLOW area, but particularly of Oakland, for entrusting their sons and daughters to me in English class.

I have nothing but wonderful memories of the parents and students whom I have taught over these many years. You have all enriched my life immeasurably; I only hope that you, too, have discovered a bit more love of reading and a surer sense of writing in my class.

Thank you, residents of Oakland! May good health and peace surround you always.
