Lisa Finizio of Indian Hills HS was named to the first team of the 2008 Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-America Teams. Lisa is describe as the example of an all around player who has the skills to change the outcome of a game. These are the skills that require a player to understand their role as a team member, and be able to deliver for the team rather than worry about personal stats.
She has displayed her ability to drive the ball when at bat, but also the important skill of being able to move players forward with the bunt. Lisa’s exceptional speed has made this a potent weapon as it also gives her the opportunity to get a base hit while moving a runner forward.
