Attention Oakland businesses: The community needs your help!
Starting September 27th there will be a town-wide wellness challenge that will run through December 13th. The challenge is called Shape Up Oakland and is supported by Mayor Linda Schwager, the Board of Health and the Borough of Oakland. The Shape Up Oakland Planning Committee is in need of local sponsorships to help make this program successful. We are asking for donations to use as incentive prizes to distribute to the challenge participants. The prizes can be in the form of donated services or products. Monetary donations will also be accepted and will be used to support various health events that will be taking place around town. The logo of the sponsors will be displayed on the website as well as on designated advertising materials. We invite the sponsors to set up a table at the kickoff event taking place on September 27th from 10-2pm in the lower parking lot at ShopRite of Oakland.
