On March 27, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Minnehaha Blvd., Det. Pagerie along with the assistance of Ptl. Noury, uncovered 43 bags of suspected heroin.
The driver, a 23 year old Mahwah resident, was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and the possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court on April 4, 2013.
On March 29, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Ramapo Valley Road, Det. Pagerie, Ptl. Gary Fiore and Ptl. Kern all participated in the arrest of two individuals wanted on burglary and theft charges emanating out of Somerset and Essex Counties. Both individuals were taken into custody.
One of the suspects, a 22 year old Cedar Grove resident, was charged with hindering apprehension for providing a false name to the arresting officers. He was subsequently lodged in the Bergen County Jail. The second individual, a 20 year old South Bound Brook resident was turned over into the custody of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department.
On March 30, 2013 Ptl. Frank Fiore and Ptl. Keenan arrested a 47 year old Oakland resident for presenting a falsely purported social security card to the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission. He was charged with presenting a fraudulent document to a governmental agency and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in the Oakland Municipal Court in April, 2013.
